Zachary Seiger

Zachary Seiger is a first-year Ph.D. student in the Human Development and Family Sciences (HDFS) program at the University of Delaware. His research focuses on identifying and understanding the structural and systemic barriers young adults face during their transition into adulthood. Drawing on his background in non-traditional education and social policy, Zachary aims to examine how specialized secondary environments and community programs can better support young people as they launch into independent adulthood.

He earned his B.A. in Cognitive Psychology from The College of New Jersey and his Master’s in Social Policy and Social Work with a concentration in Nonprofit Leadership and Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
