Shayla Crawford-Hymon
Shayla Hymon is from Northern New Jersey; she graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Family Science and Human Development with a concentration in Human Services. Shayla completed her MEd in Higher Education at Temple University, earning certificates in College Access & Success and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. She is currently an Academic Advisor in the School Of Nursing at the University of Delaware. Shayla’s research interest is College Access for Black boys and girls; she is specifically interested in uncovering the factors that influence and impede their attendance.
