Shayla Crawford-Hymon
Shayla Hymon is from Northern New Jersey; She graduated from Montclair State University with a BA in Family Science and Human Development with a concentration in Human Services. Shayla completed my MEd in Higher Education at Temple University, earning certificates in College Access & Success and Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion. She is currently an Academic Advisor in the SON at the University of Delaware and also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Shayla’s Research Interest is Postsecondary Access for Black boys & girls; she is specifically interested in uncovering the factors that impede their attendance.
