Dr. Alison Karpyn is offering a spring break study abroad trip to Eleuthera, an island in the Bahamas, with HDFS 347-70 (Program development and evaluation) to conduct program evaluations with a local organization called the One Eleuthera Foundation (OEF). Dr. Karpyn has partnered with OEF as part of her Fulbright research to address the challenge of food insecurity in the Bahamas. Students in HDFS 347-70 will learn about program evaluation during the spring semester on campus, and then travel to the Bahamas to conduct week-long evaluations of OEF’s programs.

There is an interest meeting on Tuesday, October 17 at 3:30 pm in 201 Willard Hall for students who would like to learn more about this opportunity.
