Dr. Norma Gaines-Hanks was recently featured in a #UDAbroad Voices of Our Community video promoting the HDFS Study Abroad trips that she leads to South Africa and Barbados during winter sessions. Dr. Gaines-Hanks is a strong supporter of students being exposed to cultural diversity and uses these trips to instill a global perspective in students that stays with them long after the experience. The next study abroad trip will be to Barbados in Winter 2017. Applications are due on April 20. All students are welcome and encouraged to apply!
