Professor Nancy Weiss, an HDFS faculty member and Director of the National Leadership Consortium on Developmental Disabilities, was recently announced as a recipient of the fellow status with the American Association on Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This prestigious designation is given to those who have made great contributions to the association and the field of intellectual disability. Professor Weiss’ was highlighted in UDaily’s For the Record in February. In addition, Professor Weiss was selected as the 2015 Positive Behavior Support (PBIS) award winner by the TASH organization in late fall 2015. This award recognizes an individual whose work has made a positive impact on the lives of those with disabilities and their families.
