Xueli Qiu

Xueli Sherry Qiu is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Human Development and Family Sciences. With a strong interdisciplinary background, her research focuses on examining how gender affects the perceptions of mental illness stigma, mental health outcomes, and behavioral health among young adults. Her research interests also include topics such as intimate partner violence and social justice. She identifies as a feminist scholar and is committed to advancing health equity, gender equity, and social equity through her research.
