Nadisha Downs: McNair Scholar, Researcher, Community Advocate

Nadisha Downs, a senior Human Services major, has traveled across the country and globally to share her research on father involvement of young African American men. Nadisha, a McNair Scholar, presented her research over summer 2017 at the National Association of African American Studies & Affiliates International Research Conference in South Africa, where she was just one of two undergraduate researchers. In addition to her research work, Nadisha has also served as a mentor, counselor and advocate in her home community in Wilmington, Delaware.
