Jing Tang

Jing is a doctoral student in the HDFS program. She was born and raised in China where she attended public schools and college. She has worked with young children in different early child care settings. She is interested in evaluating the quality of early child care programs as well as helping parents make informed child care decisions. As a graduate researcher, Jing is working in Delaware Stars, which is Delaware’s Quality Rating and Improvement System. This experience provides her an opportunity to explore how to improve the quality of early child care. Her dissertation project seeks to increase the understanding of the search strategies that parents use to make early child care decisions.
