Swank Human Services Disabilities Scholarships

The Howard W. Swank, Alma K. Swank, and Richard Kemper Swank Foundation will be awarding Swank Human Services Disabilities Scholarships in to one or two Human Services majors with Disabilities Studies minors in their sophomore or junior years who are concentrating their studies in disabilities services. The Scholarship will cover tuition, books, fees, and related expenses for their junior and/or senior years.

The Howard W. Swank, Alma K. Swank, and Richard Kemper Swank Foundation is making this significant commitment in order to address the need to develop human service professionals to support persons with neuro-developmental disabilities and their families.

Eligible students should apply. Application Deadline is February 15.

One or two students will be awarded the scholarships this spring.

Students accepting the scholarship will sign an agreement to work in the state of Delaware for a two year period of time or repay the scholarship funds. Such employment shall commence within 6 months from graduation at the University of Delaware. Employment must be as a human service professional whose job is to support persons with neuro-developmental disabilities and their families.
